{"id":4817,"date":"2016-03-21T18:28:30","date_gmt":"2016-03-21T07:28:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/refugeeaction.org.au\/?p=4817"},"modified":"2016-03-22T18:32:33","modified_gmt":"2016-03-22T07:32:33","slug":"asylum-seekers-second-day-protest-nauru","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/refugeeaction.org.au\/?p=4817","title":{"rendered":"Asylum seekers second day of protest on Nauru"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Asylum seekers on Nauru held a protest at the gates of the family compound, RPC 3, for the second day in a row, beginning at 5.00pm Nauru time.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the asylum seekers are still waiting for answers to their refugee claims for more than two-and half years.<\/p>\n<p>The Nauru protest began on Palm Sunday co-inciding with the Palm Sunday &#8220;Welcome Refugee&#8221; rallies calling for the closure of Manus Island and Nauru.
