A fire has broken out in one of the units inside the family camp, RPC 3, on Nauru.<\/p>\n

It is understood that the Iranian woman who was alone in the unit at the time was rescued by a security officer, before any firefighters arrived. The woman has been taken to the Nauru hospital.<\/p>\n

The woman’s husband and son were not in the unit when the fire broke out.<\/p>\n

The unit is extensively damaged. Video available on request.<\/p>\n
