A Pacific Islander was rushed to hospital after a suicide attempt at Western Australia’s Yongah Hill detention centre, yesterday, Thursday 4 November.
The man climbed onto the roof of the IHMS offices, inside the detention centre, around 3.30pm (Perth time), and shortly after, jumped from the roof.
His present condition is not known.
