Almost 80 refugees staged a peaceful protest march to the Australian High Commission, this afternoon on Nauru.
The protesters chanting “Morrison – shame on you” delivered a letter to the Australian High Commission and to the Nauruan government expressing their concerns with their indefinite detention on Nauru.
Meanwhile there has been another series of self-harm incidents in the family detention camp. More protests are expected in the detention camp tonight.
“We won’t give up,” one detainee told the Refugee Action Coalition, ” We have nothing to lose.”
